Benevolent Foundation

Support Us
Established in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation is funded through planned gifts, annual contributions and grants. 

The foundation’s mission is to secure and manage resources that enable the chapter’s philanthropic support to the Charlotte community. The Benevolent Foundation implements cultural, educational, and civic initiatives to help people excel and reach their full potential.
Previous and current partnerships include: • AARP • Adopt-a-Highway• American Cancer Society • March of Dimes • MedAssist • St Jude Children’s Research Hospital • The 50 Million Pound Challenge • US Census Bureau • Wells Fargo

In 2024, the Zetas of Charlotte awarded scholarships to two deserving high school seniors. These stories are a testament to the difference a community can make when we come together to create lasting change.

Nyree Andrews

Nyree Andrews is a graduating senior at Mallard Creek High School. She serves as the President of the Black Student Alliance, leads the African and Caribbean Student Association, sits on the Junior Class Council, showcases her talent as a Natural Hair Content Creator, and has been recognized as a finalist in prestigious Film Festivals. Nyree will be attending University of Southern California, Business of Cinematic Arts.

Nathasja Previlon  is a graduating senior at Charlotte Catholic High School. She embodies leadership as both a Junior and Senior Ambassador for the Young Black Leadership Alliance, a dedicated Student Ambassador, the visionary Founder of Plans With Grands, and the Co-President of The Black Achievers Club. With aspirations in architecture, she's set her sights on attending Louisiana State University.

The Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Delta Zeta Chapter are dedicated to the educational, social, and cultural enrichment of young ladies as they progress to assume leadership roles in the community.


The Purpose of our Program:
Allows participants to interact closely with chapter members as mentors, Offers participants access to a variety of college-preparatory workshops and community service 
Provides the opportunity to receive a college scholarship 
Allocates a portion of the proceeds for the benefit of the Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation, the 501(c)(3) non-profit, philanthropic organization of Delta Zeta Chapter
